CAP 105 Final Exam

For the logo, Matt and I enjoy very simple and sleek looking designs. This logo does just that as it looks fairly simple and has just two different colors to it. You can look deeper into Matt’s project here : https://gvsumatte.fashion.blog/final-exam
Matt and I made our first stop at the Blue Bridge located right outside of the Eberhard Center. The colors this bridge emits at night can light up the entire river and can create a beautiful scenery when looking at it from the top floor of GVSU buildings.
This little park allows me to do homework in peace while being outside surrounded by nature. GVSUs land used to be the home to several Native American tribes.
This sculpture is located next to the blue bridge downtown GR. The single tone color of this sculpture helps it blend in with the freshly fallen snow and creates a beautiful scene when everything blends together.
This photo of Matt and I was taken outside of the Devos building downtown Grand Rapids. This location is important to me as it represents all the different ethnicities that are welcome here at GVSU as we are community that welcomes anyone and everyone.
One on my favorite sculptures here at GVSU. The design and hard work that was put into this totem pole reminds me to continue working hard as I make my way up the totem pole of life and my future career.
Hadouken Meme. This meme is supposed to illustrate a force (wind) being pushed by Matt and me absorbing it.
Vadering Meme. This meme is for all you star wars fans. Matt (on the left) is using the force to lift me up and hold me in the air.
Quid-ditching Meme. Matt and I are riding a broom stick and are on our way to steel your witch.
Matt and I also made a video that showed off our favorite spot on campus. For us, that was located right outside the Siedman College of Business. The courtyard is very enjoyable to sit in during the summer time as the sun is almost alway shining and you can here all the noise coming from the city.
This meme stood out to me most as everyone changes at some point in their life. College creates a lot of stress and people are known for putting on the “freshman 15” (gain 15 pounds) within their first year at college. I

GVSU Annual Report:

Grand Valley State earned $26 Million dollars in 2018 from nearly 14,000 donors. That’s a ton of money if you ask me. I think it’s fantastic that not only is GVSU getting more sponsors but students are also being recognized more often as 36 new scholar ships were presented creating a total of 515 scholar ships.

One thing that Grand Rapids is known for is Medical Mile. GVSU is helping expand that with it’s donors as they are currently building and finishing up on new buildings within Medical Mile.
